Established in 2009 in Madhya Pradesh, IIT Indore spans 512 acres near Simrol village, 25 km from Indore city. The Centre for Rural Development and Technology (CRDT) serves as a nodal hub for researchers, practitioners, innovators, and educators. CRDT focuses on renewable energy, water management, waste management, sustainable agriculture, rural livelihoods, and community empowerment through participatory and gender-sensitive development processes. The centre actively bridges the gap between technology and rural needs.
Rural Innovators Conclave II provides a unique platform for innovators, entrepreneurs, startups, grassroots innovators, and researchers to showcase products, present solutions, pitch ideas, and connect with industry representatives, academics, government bodies, venture capitalists, angel investors, incubators, and policymakers from across India. The conclave aims to accelerate rural transformation through collaboration and innovation.
A dynamic jury will evaluate and select the best innovators. Winners receive fellowships, mentorship, and more.
Fellowship winners under Innovators and Start-up categories receive mentorship through workshops on Design, Packaging, and Marketing as per the norms of IIT Indore.
Includes registration kit, admission to all sessions, lectures, breakfast, lunch, high tea, and dinner. Accommodation charged separately.

Abstracts must be submitted online only. Each abstract should clearly indicate the aims and conclusions of the work described in the final paper.

The conclave takes place at IIT Indore from March 21–22, 2025. Active participation from sectors across the country is anticipated.
A limited number of institute accommodations will be available for participants. Preference will be given to solo travelers whose abstracts are accepted in Rural Innovators Conclave II 2025.
